How the BiomedRx App handles information, what it never collects, and the choices you have. Effective 29 August 2026.

This policy applies to the BiomedRx App for iOS and Android and to this website. It is published by BiomedRx, 8306 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 777, Beverly Hills, California 90211, United States.
The app is a professional tool for biomedical equipment technicians, the healthcare providers whose equipment they service, and the manufacturers whose devices they support. It is not a consumer product and it is not directed to children.
Account information you or your organisation provide: name, work email, telephone number, job title, territory, professional role, organisation and membership tier.
Work records created in the course of service: work orders, the equipment they concern, the facility and department, your reported complaint, diagnostic findings, work performed, measurements, parts used, timestamps and the status timeline.
An equipment register: asset and serial numbers, manufacturer, model, condition, and preventive-maintenance and electrical-safety dates.
Professional credentials where your organisation records them: certification or licence name, issuer, number, issue and expiry dates.
Messages and any files you choose to attach to them.
Camera. Used in one place only: identifying equipment by scanning a barcode or QR code on the asset label. The video is processed on your device to decode the label and is not recorded, stored or transmitted. Only the decoded asset or serial number is used, to look the equipment up. You can decline the permission and type the number instead.
Location. Requested only at the moment you confirm arrival at a facility, and used only to measure the distance between your device and that facility's recorded coordinates. What is written to the work order is the outcome of that check. The app does not track your location in the background, does not follow your route, and does not build a location history. If you decline, or the fix is unavailable, you may still confirm arrival and the record states plainly that the location was not verified.
Photos and files. Only the specific files you attach to a message are uploaded. The app does not scan or index your photo library.
Biomedical work happens in basements, plant rooms and shielded imaging suites where there is no signal. When you are offline, work-order status changes and submitted service reports are written to storage on your device first and uploaded when you reconnect. Until then they remain on the device and nowhere else.
You can see exactly what is waiting, and its state, in the app's Sync Center. Signing out while items are still queued leaves them on that device.
The app also stores small interface preferences locally. It does not use advertising identifiers.

It contains no advertising, no advertising identifiers and no third-party advertising code.
It contains no analytics, tracking or telemetry software. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no Segment, no Mixpanel and no crash-reporting SDK in the application.
It does not send push notifications and does not request permission to.
It does not take payments inside the app and does not handle card details.
It does not access your contacts, calendar, microphone, call history or SMS.
The app documents medical equipment, not patients. Work records concern devices, facilities, departments and the technicians who service them.
It is not designed to receive protected health information, and you should not enter patient names, identifiers or clinical details into service notes, measurements, messages or attachments. If your organisation requires an arrangement covering protected health information, contact us before using the app for that purpose.
All communication between the app and our services uses encrypted connections. Our service report portal refuses unencrypted requests outright rather than accepting them.
Access is scoped by role and by organisation on the server, so you see the records your role and your organisation entitle you to see, rather than being filtered in the app after the fact.
Publication of a service report to the client portal is authenticated and signed, and every publication and every rejected attempt is recorded in an audit log.

Service records are the documentary evidence that a medical device was maintained, calibrated or repaired, and are retained for as long as the provider, the manufacturer or applicable regulation requires them.
Account information is retained while the account is active. Queued items on your device are removed once they have uploaded, and you can clear synchronised entries yourself.
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Where records must be retained as service documentation we will tell you that plainly rather than quietly refusing.
Camera and location permissions can be withdrawn at any time in your device settings; the app continues to work, with manual entry in place of scanning and an unverified arrival in place of a geofenced one.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in that Act.
If this policy changes we will update the effective date at the top of this page, and we will tell you in the app before a material change takes effect.
Privacy questions, requests about your information, or anything in this policy that is not clear: email info@biomedrx.app or telephone (424) 204-2382, or write to BiomedRx, 8306 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 777, Beverly Hills, California 90211.
